I'm a neurodivergent, neuro-affirming counselor who integrates evidence-based counseling with creativity, humor, and the client’s special interests. I'm warm, straightforward, and collaborative. Kindness, curiosity, inclusivity, and authenticity guide my counseling. I respect the client’s autonomy and believe a client’s trust is sacred.
I specialize in young adult and adult women who are navigating significant life transitions and identity shifts (such as partner discernment, recovering from narcissistic abuse; parallel-parenting with a hostile former partner; implementing gentle (authoritative) parenting; and midlife changes (menopause/empty-nest). I also see teens/young adults. I counsel neurodivergent and Twice Exceptional (2E) students/their parents, as well as women recently diagnosed with ADHD/ASD (including masking, burnout, and sensory fatigue).
My clinical orientation is an integrated approach grounded in CBT, strengths-focused work, and attachment-theory. Unconditional positive regard, trust, and rapport are foundational to my counseling. I incorporate creativity, art exercises, narrative therapy, and the client’s special interests. I actively pursue continuing education to best serve each client’s unique needs.
In my free time, I find my glimmers with my college daughter, with my two rescued dachshunds, in my garden, at lively game nights with friends, in the Swiftie-verse, and in ongoing creative projects.

Previously, I have worked with adult clients in detox and residential treatment for addiction recovery, where I provided individual counseling for clients with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders such as PTSD, major depression, and anxiety disorders. I also led process groups and addiction psychoeducational groups that addressed substance triggers and cravings, addiction neurobiology, relapse prevention, communication and relationships, life-skills
development, and coping skills based on cognitive, affective, and sensory-body awareness. In my free time, I like to care for plants and vegetables in my balcony garden, cook new recipes, play with my two cats, and explore restaurants around the Houston area.
